Who we are
This website, cyphlon.com, is operated by Cyphlon LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("Cyphlon", "we", "us"). We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Contact us about privacy at [email protected].
We handle personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and, for visitors in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, and optionally your company and phone number, plus your message.
- Research and release updates: your email address, if you sign up.
- Call bookings: if you book a call, you do so through Calendly, which collects the details you enter under its own privacy policy and shares them with us.
- Technical data: your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, recorded in standard server and network logs. To stop abuse of our forms, we keep a one-way hash of your IP address for 10 minutes after you submit a form.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The site stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage; it never leaves your device. The Calendly booking widget may set its own cookies when it loads.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss the services or products you asked about.
- To send research and release updates you signed up for.
- To keep the site and our forms secure and working.
Our legal bases are your consent (updates, which you can withdraw at any time), our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and protecting our site, and steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with providers that run the site for us:
- Namecheap: website hosting and the email service that delivers form submissions to us.
- Cloudflare: network delivery and security for cyphlon.com.
- Calendly: call scheduling, if you use it.
These providers may process data outside the UAE. Where they do, we rely on their contractual and technical safeguards. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, then as required for our records.
- Updates sign-ups: until you unsubscribe, by replying to any update or emailing us.
- Form abuse-prevention data: 10 minutes.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy of it, or to withdraw consent. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the UAE Data Office or, in the EEA or UK, to your local data protection authority.
Security
Our site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions go directly to our mailbox. If you find a security issue in our site or products, please report it to [email protected].
